UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake, who was arrested in connection with the controversial audio clips, was further remanded until February 26 by the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court today.
He was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) officers at his residence in Madiwala on January 14 on the instructions of the Attorney General after obtaining a warrant and produced him in court on charges of interfering with the functions of the judge.

what a farce of a joke this funny saga is turning out to be. RR will be remanded for a few more months not being charged and brought to trial.? then one fine day when least unexpected he will be released on surety bail and when that happens it will be the end of the comical story.
