Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Former Law and Order Minister Sagala Ratnayake and former MP Ashu Marasinghe arrived at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) probing alleged political victimization during the previous government's tenure.

Mr.Ranil claimed that he saved Sri Lankan war criminals from facing International War Crime Tribunals. By doing so, he wanted to protect those war criminals. In addition, he manipulated Mr.Sumanthiran and Mr.Sampanthan by offering them benefits such as Opposition Posts.
