Ragging incident: 19 Ruhunu Uni students re-remanded

Nineteen senior students of the Ruhuna University who were arrested over a ragging incident were further remanded until August 26 by the Matara Additional Magistrate today.

They had been arrested over alleged involvement in sexual attacks on first-year students and subjecting them to inhuman ragging. (Krishan Jeewak Jayaruk)
