The government is of the view that ‘Srawasthi Mandiraya’ should be reserved solely for the use of Parliament, an official who wished to remain anonymous opined.
“Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has reserved space of this building for the use of the Office of Missing Persons (OMP), the Cabinet and the Presidential Secretariat (PS). The government is in agreement with UPFA MP Dinesh Gunawardane that the building should entirely be reserved for the use of MPs in the discharge of their parliamentary duties,” he said.
