The power disruption has affected the operation of pump houses resulting in low-pressure supply of water already pumped into storage tanks, The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) General Manager R.H. Ruvinis said.
He said the supplying of water would become problematic once the remaining levels at storage tanks exhausted.
“Once the power supply is restored, the water supply from the Ambatale Pump House will be restored first,” he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
