Those who travel on roads without curfew passes or service identity card which is permitted to use as a curfew pass would be arrested without a warrant, police said.
They said legal action would be taken against them under the quarantine regulations and under the penal code.
Police said those who were arrested would be either fined or sentenced to jail if found guilty by the Court.
In addition, those arrested could be produced before the Public Health Inspectors (PHI) or Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) to obtain a medical report if necessary.
The vehicles seized during the curfew period would be detained until the pandemic situation brought under control. (DSB)
