Police Committee to accept complaints against Sally, Hizbullah, Rishad

The three-member committee comprising senior police officers has been appointed to receive complaints against former Western Province Governor Azath Salley, former Eastern Province Governor M. L. A. M. Hizbullah, and former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said.

SP Gunasekera said a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and two Superintendent of Police (SPs) make up  the committee.

The Spokesman said only written complaints would be entertained by the committee which was established at the Police Headquarters.

He said the complaints could be handed over from today (June 4) until June 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
