The voter turnout of the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election was recorded as over 75 per cent at the conclusion of the election, Galle District Returning Officer Somarathna Vidanapathirana said.

Given it’s a working day, not getting a holiday to cast vote etc, it’s a good turn up of voters. Results will be somewhat an indication of Southern vote !
