Novice monk dies of electrocution

A 12-year-old novice monk of the Egaloya Paramitha Temple in Bulathsinhala has died due to electrocution.

Police said the monk was electrocuted when he was engaged in repairing an electrical appliance in his abode.

The monk was rushed to the Bulathsinhala Hospital where he was pronounced dead.(Bandu Thambavita)
