Transport Service Management Minister Mahinda Amaraweera has taken steps to ban the loud music being played in private passenger transport buses from January 1.

Classical Music?

A positive step. But why not have no music at all? Loud classical music could be just as much a nuisance as loud pop.

Noise pollution is every where. from Ice cream seller to temples. There is a Supreme court ruling to warn such people and if continued confesicate the equipments. Do our law enforcement do theier solaman duty?

We always hear of decisions made to start on January 1st. Sadly these never happen or even if these do, forgotten very soon. Let's see if this is something different!
