UNP former National Organizer Navin Dissanayake is likely to take up a high position in the party soon, UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene said yesterday.
Mr. Wijewardene told journalists that Mr. Dissanayake would take up issues with party Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and is likely to take a responsible position in the UNP though he has decided not to accept the National Organizer’s post.
“It would be possible to resolve whatever issues Mr. Dissanayake has with the UNP through a dialogue,” he said.
Also he said the party will send in a suitable person as its national list MP at the correct time.“there are many requests that UNP should send someone as its national list to Parliament.(YOHAN PERERA AND ATHULA BANDARA)

Naveen's best option is to join SJB. Ruwan is a looser like his uncle Ranil.

Navin betrayed UNP along with his father-in-law Karu!! By being part of MR Regime !!

The only hope for the UNP is to team up with Sajith. If not Ruwan will not even get elected key alone form a government . If a party has been reduced to ZERO having been in government or the main opposition since 1948 that tells the story. Navin is a time server and giving him a position or not is not going to make a difference
