The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) said it would consider regulatory clearance of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine only after its listing for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO), an official said.
Newly appointed NMRA Chairman Dr Rasitha Wijewantha told Daily Mirror his office was awaiting the WHO emergency listing of the vaccine.
China has also donated vaccines to a number of countries. China has also become the world’s largest vaccination nation. (Kelum Bandara)

In Middle East specially in UAE mainly vaccinated Sinopharm since last year . Overall success rate is very high country is fully open. we are still struggling to take a decision . Bring Sinopharm if possible

Sorry uncle, as a percentage China lags behind most countries in this world. As for WHO approval it is going to be very long long wait. The Sinopharm have a low efficacy rate and no data available.

These officials are not mature enough to understand that this is all politics at WHO. West doesn't want the Chinese vaccine to be approved bc China is prepared to give away vaccines for free. How can the western multinationals make profits then?

What is this big fuss over Sinopharn? Fron Phizer downwards all vaccines are arrpoved by the WHO on emmergency use basis. 80% of Vaccines are block booked by the 10 richest countries. 2.5b people from 130 Countries have no access to Vaccines due to the selfishness of the selfish Big West. Sinopharm is used in 37 Countries. Even though low efficacy rate at this point of time something is better than nothing. Sokrates can have another Cowdung jab. CAN THE MNRA PRODUCE A VACCINE or is it only a book worm
