While vehemently condemning the Easter terror attack, the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) today said that it is unfortunate that the Muslim community is being harassed and targeted because of the action of a few individuals.
Speaking at a media briefing ACJU President Mufti M.I.M Rizwe said that this is a shameful and heinous act which no human being can tolerate for any reason. Though the attacks were carried out on a day holy to a particular religious community, it is a very sad day for all Sri Lankans.”
On behalf of all Sri Lankan Muslims, we the ACJU, extend our arms of solidarity, love and affection towards our Christian brothers and sisters at this moment of grief.
“We Muslims, as responsible citizens extended our full support to the security forces to identify the culprits who were involved in this attack. We have claimed previously that those who were engaged in terror attack on innocent civilians in the name of Islam do not belong to us and we consider them to be people who have committed against humanity. We even did not accept their bodies for burial in our grave yard,” Maolavi Rizwe said.
“We take this opportunity to thank the Muslims community for conducting themselves as responsible citizens by supporting the security measures of the defence mechanism,” he said
We appeal to all religious and civil leaders to join hands in rightly guiding the people of their respective areas to prevent communal conflicts, and also to the public to refrain from spreading rumours through different forms of media, he said
“At this moment of great tragedy, let us all join together in solidarity and face the challenges with mutual love and respect to move forward as Sri Lankans. We pray to Almighty Allah that He eases the pain of all who were affected and grant His mercy to them,” he said.
Let us all be together in this, and help and support each other in this time of grief and pray that we overcome this tragedy as Sri Lankans, ”it added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

Naturally, as has been experienced, it is the innocent that are those experiencing much inconvenience and harassed, mostly the minorities. There have been attempts by a few corrupt officials to make this an opportunity to earn illicit rewards, as was similar in the the case of the northern terrorist conflict This has been the case in the drug business. Most people knew that the country was drowning in drugs, than the authorities, until it blew up in the faces of those responsible to act.

"Muslim community is being harassed after terror attack: ACJU" ACJU should also be made responsible for preaching extremism in mosques. Their secretary is the Tawheed Jamaat Head. What has ACJU got to say to that?

The problem is that there are too many uneducated and racist Sinhalese, mostly losers, who are easily incited to riots by politicians and monks.

Hakeem The hidden hand is working very closely with you guys. He will eventually distroy you and your community leadership. This is what happened to the Tamil politicians and the Sinhala politicians in the past

I request all Muslims to be normal like other Sri Lankan. Your appearance look different from others, you wear black robe say it’s your religion, have long beard say it’s your religious thing. Don’t you Muslims think Religion should be practicing your faith in life rather than trying to show off by your dresses? You still say wearing a dress make you the holiest persons, who are the other Muslims living with other people, are they sinners? If your burka wife goes to her child birth in the modern society will she be still wearing the Burka in front of the doctors? Want she be naked in front of so many people around her? Wake up Muslims, dress is not a religion but how you how you live you make you a good Muslim. Practice your religion not by your dress but by living as a good human If you still think Wearing burka only makes you a Muslim you are just trying
