Modi congratulates MR on 73rd Independence Day of Sri Lanka

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on the occasion of the 73rd Anniversary of the Independence of Sri Lanka.

The Indian Premier underlined the cooperation between the two nations over the past years, including in the joint fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

He further wished the strong ties between the two nations would be further cemented in the years to come, and contribute to the progress and common prosperity of people.
