The 22-year-old Covid--19 positive man from Sapugaskanda, who had gone missing since last evening, has been traced by the police at a place in Makola North in Sapugaskanda this morning, Police said.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said he was traced following a special operation conducted by the police along with MOH officers and PHIs.
He said the man had been staying with a girl at a residence where her parents had also been staying.
He said investigations are being conducted to ascertain whether they had intentionally accommodated the infected man.
The infected man was sent to a treatment centre and legal action will be taken against him after the treatment, the DIG said.
