Matara District: SLPP secures 6 seats, SJB 1

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has secured six seats in the Matara District garnering a total of 352,217 votes while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has secured one seat with a total of 72,811 votes.

The Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) led by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) garnered 37,065 votes but failed to secure a seat. The UNP also failed to secure a seat.
