Cabinet spokesman, Minister Bandula Gunawardana said today the family members who accompanied Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on his visit to India last week had spent their own money for air tickets and accommodations.
He said this in response to a journalist at today’s weekly cabinet news briefing asking who footed the bill of the family members.
Bandula is honing his comedic skills. I'm laughing from an unmentionable part of my anatomy. He must think that we all are a bunch of dumb idiots.

Dear Mr or Dr Gunawardene , which title you like to call? You are trying to fool us. Prove it producing MR’s family members bank accounts that they used their own funds.

Roshan you are correct. Let us start with tsunami funds and finish with Sri Lankan airlines. These people in parliament have taken all of us to be fools.
In a nutshell when all this set of 225 leave the parliament then and THEN ONLY SL people may have a ray of hope.

Their money is all commissions collected. Then they are State Funds

Then why go with MR on his state visit. The family members could have used their own money and visited India anytime they want. I thought Bandula had some brains in him, without giving a statement like that. Pathetic situation.
