Kerala cannabis worth over Rs. 50 Mn seized in A’pura

More than 200 parcels of Kerala cannabis valued at Rs. 50 million have been seized from a holiday resort at Isurupura in Anuradhapiura, Police said.

The police have also taken into custody a bus that was planning to be used to transport the stock of Cannabis to Thanamalwila.

The driver of the bus and another person have been arrested while the police are investigating to arrest the owner of the holiday resort and a retired army soldier in connection with the incident.(Athula Bandara)
