Intelligence, police race against time to search for missing boy

Intelligence and police are continuing the search for a missing 16 year old boy who dissappeared yesterday after leaving his home in Ratmalana afterwhich his family lodged a complaint with the Mount Lavinia Police.

The child's mother told Daily Mirror that there was still no update on her son but the intelligence and police were continuing to probe.

She urged anyone with any information to inform the family members or the police immediately.

The mother said her son refused to go to school on that day morning but left home without informing anyone.

"My son was in his room with his elder brother. Last morning he told me that he will not be going to school, but did not mention anything about leaving the residence. He generally gets into the bus at the Golumadama Junction," the mother said.
