SJB MP Harin Fernando yesterday said he publicly gave a urine sample to be tested for drugs as a challenge to prove that he does not consume narcotic drugs and to disprove those who have accused him of alleged addiction.

MP Fernando went live on social media on Saturday taking his urine sample at a hospital toilet to be tested for drug addiction.

“Certain people including some MPS who made use of their parliamentary privileges, accused me of having addicted to cocaine and other drugs. Therefore, I underwent a doping test publicly, going live on social media. I will prove them wrong when the results are revealed,” he told Daily Mirror. “I don’t hate those who accused me but wish them well,” he said.

He said he was even prepared to send his urine sample to those who accused him so that they can find out the truth. (YOHAN PERERA)

cocaine or heroin doesnt stay in the system for very long. specially in blood and urine. If Harin used either of the drug two weeks ago he will not test positive via urine. nice plan.

Now its the turn of Frock wearing Iraj to go for the same test and prove that he has not taken drugs, may be all MPs in the Parliament should also do the same.
