President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said yesterday that if the people mistake the government's actions, the current set of policies will collapse.
He requested the people to consider the policies pursued by the government and their benefits when fathoming the government's progress.
He pointed out that certain groups are trying to socialize misconceptions and destroy the country again.
He said while addressing the women representatives and activists of the Sri Lanka People's Front, that if the farmers have lost their traditional lands, it would not be an environmental disaster to provide a solution.
President Rajapaksa emphasized the need for regulating the environment along with development.

If your policies were any good, there wouldn't be any need to tell your folks they are stupid. By making such statements, you have established that your folks are stupid.

Prudent to study why farmers lost their traditional lands and for what length of time. Then provide proper solution within regulatory framework not arbitrarily.
