Excellent decition. Request to give priority to reinstate Kanthalai Sugar Factory and enhance the irrigation capacities to sugarcane cultivations in the district. (Mahaweli Ganaga flowing 15 Km distance). As a byproduct more ethanol can be be produced in the sugar manufacturing process to produce "Gal". If any excess rice (paddy) available , can be used to produce high quality C2H5OH. (instead of storing excess paddy in Air Ports and later selling to chicken farms as previously done)

There are some MP's who were involved in the illegal import of ethanol. They must be happy about this decision.

"He also said required Ethanol is manufactured locally." Probably from 99% imported ingredients.
