Google is currently facing an outage In Sri Lanka and several other countries such as India. Google search, Docs, Drive, Gmail and YouTube, among others were reported to be not working, prompting messages of error.
Reports of the outage have emerged from Europe and the US as well, while YouTube appears to have taken the brunt of it. Youtube recently faced another major outage for several hours, early last month.
According to Downdetector, a platform which informs and alerts of downtime and outages for many online services revealed that YouTube appears to have faced the brunt of the outage, with over 50,000 cases reported thus far.
Most reported errors for Google have been login issues and errors with the search engine.
