According to the Gazette notification, the CAA directs that no importer, manufacturer, distributor or trader of Hand Sanitizers shall import, manufacture, store, distribute or display for sale, expose or offer for sale, wholesale or retail any Hand Sanitizers unless such Hand Sanitizer is registered with the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) and the registration number is displayed in a conspicuous place of the pack or the container of such Hand Sanitizer.
