The Health Ministry today announced to hold funerals ceremonies except for the COVID deaths within 24-hours after releasing the dead body from the hospital.
The Ministry advised attending a maximum of 25 persons at a given time.
The Ministry had taken the above decisions with the amendment of the COVID regulations. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

So now you are not shame to follow Islamic way of disposing dead ? Also nature may force you to only bury bodies if number increases. Obviously you can't burn many bodies and pollute environment.

Islam prohibits to hold funeral for days n should be taken within 24 hrs. Now that’s what nature teaches! Glory be to Allah alone n all praise!

It's meaningless to hold grand funerals and waist time and money. Instead we should use that money to help the poor and needy. Children from poor families who have no online lessons have been deprived of education for months.
