Former State Minister and SJB MP Ashok Abeysinghe today arrived at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to record a statement over a speech he had made regarding Easter Sunday attacks, Police said.
They said earlier, the former Minister was summoned to appear before the CID on two previous occasions to make a statement regarding the incident, but he did not appear.
According to the third summons issued by the CID, the MP has appeared before the CID today, the police said.
