Field Marshal Fonseka has forgotten that it was I who campaigned for him in the North during the 2010 presidential election
SJB MPS Mano Ganesan and Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka were engaged in an argument in Parliament yesterday over the commemoration of Maveerar day in the North.
The argument flared up when Ganesan stated that Field Marshal Fonseka had misunderstood him.“field Marshal Fonseka has misunderstood me and has accused me of welcoming the Commemoration of Maveerar day to remember dead LTTE cadres. I only said that Tamils in the North should be allowed to remember their loved ones and hold religious observances. There is a difference between remembering dead LTTE cadres and Tamil people remembering their dead. The LTTE cannot be commemorated as they are a banned organization,” the MP said.
“Field Marshal Fonseka has forgotten that it was I who campaigned for him in the North during the 2010 presidential election when others were hiding” he added. (YOHAN PERERA AND AJITH SIRIWARDANA)

Same way good values as charity and compassion of the Buddhists have also been forgotten by others. In summary, human memory is short and we must cultivate good qualities of gratitude and compassion among all Sri Lankans.

In fact, SF accepted the fact but had different views as that is what democracy is all about. Nothing to worry.
