The Cabinet has approved the payment of the electricity tariff indicated in the February bill in March, April and May as well.
Accordingly, the consumers can pay the amount paid on February electricity bill for March, April and May disregarding the amounts indicated in the bills received for these three months.
Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said a two-month grace period would be provided to consumers to pay their bills.
