The Education Ministry today appealed to the Health Services Director General to convey his recommendations within two days in order to the re-opening of schools in the Western Province (WP) on March 15.
While addressing the media, Education Minister Prof. G. L. Pieris said the decision was made to re-open all schools in the country on March 15 except in the WP.
However, the final decision on opening schools in WP will take after the recommendations are given by the Health Services DG. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
