Covid-19 cases exceed 43,000

A total of 171 new Covid-19 patients were reported this evening bringing the total number of cases in the country to 43,299, the Government Information Department said.

Among the newly reported cases, 105 are close contacts of the Peliyagoda fish market cluster while 66 are from prisons.
