This is the future you 6.9 million people voted for. Now live with it.

    Ha! HA!! HAA!!! Nice Response.

Don't these guys know there is a pandemic going on now? Why waste time holding placards? Why not work and be productive?

    varuna Monday, 21 December 2020 06:52 AM

They know very well that we are in the midst of a pandemic. But if people can't afford to buy the bare essentials and not much of economic activity is happening in the country for them to generate an income, then what else to do? Why do we need a government? To provide relief to people who suffer from phenomena like COVID-19 pandemic that is beyond the control of them and not play SLPL Cricket in Hambanthota. Understood?

How do you expect to call it to be productive when they are not in a position to distribute THEIR products? Of course there are some who are very productive in promoting Pani.

    Selvakumar Monday, 21 December 2020 05:29 AM

Who will be given answer !!!

ANDREW DIAS Monday, 21 December 2020 05:40 AM

Mohan, dont you know that there are restrictions to movement? So how can one work?

    Sam Monday, 21 December 2020 07:18 AM

This is commonsense. When 5000 is printed and distributed, the Rupee value depreciates. People have to pay more for the value of goods. Are the value of essential items sold at fixed prices? Of the 5000 distributed, wonder how much of it was swallowed? We also see so many great opening ceremonies of Roads, Buildings, the recent Indian 49% port deal, whereas people are not able to work with peace. They have to take the risk and even if it's their own RIP have to pay 50000 for their cremation.

    Milinda Monday, 21 December 2020 07:31 AM

These guys are a burden to society. They should contribute to increase productivity levels in the country instead of wasting time on the roads during a pandemic era. Increase productivity levels and there by reap the benefits of lowering production costs of all essential items

    Sokrates Monday, 21 December 2020 07:33 AM

Rising prices and inflation are common in dictatorships.

Roger Haĺliday Monday, 21 December 2020 07:45 AM

Those 6.9 voted thinking they will be provided all they need like an old promise rice from the moon. They are still hopeful and will give them another chance at the next round. දැන් සැපද........... ඔහොම යනග්.....
