The Cabinet yesterday approved to move out of the UNHRC resolution 30/1 with the help of ‘likeminded’ countries, Daily Mirror learns.
Accordingly, Foreign Relations Minister Dinesh Gunawardane is expected to make a statement today in Parliament.
Sri Lanka co-sponsored the resolution in 2015 under the previous government. (Kelum Bandara)
