He said PHIs had reported on conducting new year activities with gatherings over 1,000 people from several areas.
He said people have come to a stage where they did not consider even following the basic health guidelines. Therefore, the people have to face the consequences within the month of May.
“The results of irresponsible behaviour by the majority of the people will affect the people who stick to the guidelines and everyone have to undergo quarantine,” Mr. Rohana said.
