AG’s Coordinating Officer State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said the AG instructed to arrest them as suspects on charges of money laundering in the controversial air bus deal of SriLankan Airlines in 2013.

The AG has also directed CID to forward the investigative extracts to the Bribery Commission Director General in order to consider charges against Chandrasena over the air bus deal.

If the fraud came to light during the Yahapalana period, it is doubtful whether the two syspects would be arrested so fast. The then Govt. was suffering from malnutrition and narcissus.

In SLankan politics, the top positions are given to their Keith and kin. CEOs, HCs, Excellencies. Poor people are being fooled and robbed over and over again. Will justice ever come to this poor nation?

This guy should be a Rajapaksa goon. I bet, he has already out of country and thats why government ordered an investigation. It is funny that all the details of scams that this guy was involved are with the AG department. Nothing will be done unless this was disclosed by a foreign media. CORRUPTED SOCIETY AND POLTICIANS.
