The vaccines are not going to stop this pandemic and the doctors are clueless. The Army has to do something to control the virus.

If it were specialized army doctors, one could understand this decision, but Silva and all his soldiers have proven to be incapable of fighting the virus. This is just another militarization of the country under the guise of Covis-19.

I think when we read this we must carefully read them to understand the intent of such move. No where it says the Army is technically in charge of treatment. It clearly says 'facilitating". Technical support is if there is a requirement. Our armed forces have a strong medical structure who can support the national medical services. So lets use it. The new decentralized structure is timely because the decease is now found in many areas. The Army and is an organization which is deployed country wide and has a massive capacity to strengthen the logistical muscle, which no other civilian government establishment can match. This decentralization, if effectively implemented can form the foundation for rapid vaccinations, when they arrive in country. There is a lot of preparations which needs to be done in the cities; to identify the high risk groups, storage plans have to be made, dedicated transport has to be earmarked. We can't be searching for whom to vaccinate and vehicles to move.

The country is on the verge of a militarism. People don’t have a penny to eat and they don’t have time to think what was happening. This is not fair to give authority to Army when other officials stand behind.

If we take every issue as a 'war' then, we will be in trouble.

The country is now run by a Military Government and the danger is that democracy will die a violent death. Silva and his commanders will try to eliminate Gotler very soon!!!!

Shavendra is a great warrior and administrator whone we respect. But I feel we need Administrative people from Medical and District secretariat to lead the effect with the participation of the forces.
