Heavy traffic reported at the Armour Street Junction in the Kotahena police area due to minor floods, police said.
They said the Armour Street Junction on the main road towards Colombo Fort from Nawaloka roundabout had been inundated.
Police request motorists to use alternative routes to avoid traffic.
Motorists coming from Wattala can reach Colombo Fort through Mattakkuliya and Modara. Vehicles can come to Borella through Baseline Road, police said.

why is the government not fixing this recurring problem for the last 20 years the CMC is not cleaning the storm drains most of the roads in colombo 12, 13 14 and 15 are always flooded during a rainfall of 100 mm why are the clowns doing nothing about it
