Angulana incident: Suspects released on bail

The fourteen suspects, who were arrested in connection with the violent incident at Angulana, were released on bail by the Moratuwa Magistrate today.
They were released on two sureties of Rs.100,000 each by the Magistrate.
The police arrested 14 suspects including five women for causing damage to the Angulana Police Station and vehicles during a protest staged by the residents of the area. (Reka Tharangani Fonseka)

These are the type of incidents that makes the U.N. not to trust Sri Lanka. Policemen kill an innocent man and those Policemen are only suspended but when people protest at the Police Station they are arrested and produced in court.
