All schools in Matara, Galle remain closed for another two days

All schools in the Matara and Galle Districts will remain closed for another two days from tomorrow due to the prevailing adverse weather condition, Southern Province Governor Hemal Gunasekara said.

He said the decision was taken as a precautionary measure. Accordingly, the schools will remain closed on Thursday (26) and Friday (27) as well.

Earlier, the schools in Matara and Galle were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
