90,000 people under self quarantine: Ajith Rohana

Approximately 90,000 persons have been ordered to follow quarantine procedures at their residence as of today, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said today.

He said nine police areas including Kattankudy, Avissawella and Ruwanwella are under isolation.

“No inmate of the isolated areas will be allowed to leave the isolated areas and no outsider will be allowed to enter those areas. Those who disobey the orders will be dealt with quarantine law,” he said.
