The 500,000 doses of the Astra-Seneca Covshield vaccines ordered from Serum Institute in India will be delivered to Sri Lanka on Thursday night, Acting Health Minister Channa Jayasumana confirmed.
He said the order was forwarded by the State Pharmaceutical Corporation (SPC).

This time there cannot be preferred treatments of highly connected people. Get on board the private healthcare services too to expedite the vaccination drive.

Thanks to the Media and opposition MPs who heavily criticised the government favourable and initial response of cheap and free Dammika Peniya rather than USD costing vaccine, today we get the vaccine from the govt free.
