Among the 367 COVID positive cases reported until this morning, the highest number of cases has been reported from Colombo District, the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
Accordingly, 94 infections were reported from the Colombo District and 54 from Gampaha district while 43 infected persons have been reported from the Kurunegala District by this morning.
154 cases were reported from elsewhere in the country.
They said 22 among them were overseas returnees and the rest (345) were locals.
92,422 cases linked to the Minuwangoda and Brandix clusters and 89,363 cases affiliated to the Peliyagoda fish market cluster have been reported by this morning, the centre noted.
Moreover, 97,471 COVID-19 cases have been reported within the country so far by this morning, and 93,546 of them have returned home completely cured.
Meanwhile, 3,300 COVID-19 patients are still being treated at centres.
During the past 24 hours ending at 6.00 am today, 173 patients have left the treatment centres after having completely cured.
A total number of 10,515 persons are still under treatment at 105 quarantine centres which are controlled by the military.
