Thirty-six swords which had been buried were recovered from Kattankudi today, police said.
They said the swords were recovered following information provided by Mohamed Milhan, who is currently under CID detention.
Mohamed Milhan is supposed to be the person who allegedly in charge of the armed unit set up by Mohammad Zaharan.
Police said the swords were inside large plastic pipes.

The swords were store under the ground to clear shrubs to plant dates trees.

Alarming to see how many swords, explosives etc are still being found. What could have happened if these had not been discovered? More blood shed?
