331 stranded Sri Lankans return from US, UAE

A total of 331 Sri Lankans, who were stranded in the United States (US) and in United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to Covid-19 pandemic, arrived in the country this morning at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

Three hundred and twelve out of the group had arrived from the US while the others had arrived from the UAE.

They were subjected to PCR tests upon their arrival at the BIA and were sent for quarantine at Shangri-La Hotel, Club Palm Bay in Marawila and government-operated quarantine centers in Akkaraipattu. (T.K.G. Kapila)
