A total of 299 Sri Lankans, who were stranded in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar due to the COVID-19 pandemic arrived at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) and Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning.
The MRIA duty manager said a group of 289 Sri Lankans stranded in Dubai arrived at the MRIA while the other ten people arrived at the BIA from Doha.
The returnees and their luggage were subjected to health checks and disinfection process at the airport and the passengers were subjected to PCR tests. (T.K.G Kapila)
