A total of 288 Sri Lankan expatriate workers, who were stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), arrived in the country this morning at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake.

They arrived at the BIA onboard a special flight of Srilankan Aniline UL-226 from Dubai.

They were subjected to PCR tests at the BIA laboratory free of charge and sent to a government-operated quarantine centre. (T.K.G. Kapila)
