25% reduction on electricity bills for March, April, May

WOW how ridiculous is this. The country was locked down during this period. People were at home and 25% discount for under 90 unit usage. Insult to our intelligence.

The real problem he forgets is not giving a grace period of three months to pay the bills but the overcharging where people had to pay higher tariff charges for CEB guesswork. The question is the value overcharged. This is stupid.

Even this is not enough. My earlier light bill averaged Rs. 1200 - Rs. 1300 maximum, but now its over Rs. 7000/- to Rs. 9000/=

25% discount is fine but ONLY for those who used less than 90 units per month is RIDICULOUS. Even the low income users would have used more than 90 units during this time. The overcharged amounts need to deducted first before anything else. This is just another election gimmick.

Please without knowing how the computaton was done for the lockdown period DO NOT on your own come to conclusions. The issue of three bills is the confusion. Look at your last bill - that is all what is due.
