At least 23 Thai women were arrested following a brothel raid carried out in the Kollupitiya area this evening, police said today.
They said the brothel raid had been operated by two Sri Lankan women in the guise of an Ayurveda Medical Centre
The raid was conducted following a tip-off to the Kollupitiya Police and was carried out by the officials of Crimes Prevention Unit of the Kollupitiya police on a court order.
The suspects are between 20 and 40 years old. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
