15 arrested for unlawful racing in Biyagama

The Biyagama Police arrested 15 suspects with three motorcycles and six three wheelers for racing unlawfully at Siyabalape Junction in Biyagama early last morning.
Police said the race was organized through the facebook for monetary rewards. They said the three-wheelers were modified for racing purposes.
The arrested were aged between 16 and 32 were produced in court yesterday and seven of them were remanded till tomorrow while others released on bail.

They started too early. Soon will have car and motorbike racing around the Temple of the Tooth, Sri Mahabodiya and Ruwanweli Saya. After that this should have been done. Then no issues.

It is OK for the Rajapakses to do night racing but not for these.
