103 Covid-19 cases detected so far following Rapid Antigen Tests at 11 exit points

A total of 103 COVID-19 cases have been detected following 13,137 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) carried out on those leaving the Western Province so far since December 18 , Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

He said 604 close contacts of the positive cases have also been sent for quarantine.

DIG Rohana said one Covid positive person was detected following 108 Rapid Antigen Tests carried out on those leaving the Western Province during the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, he said 3 persons who work at fish stalls in Colombo District have tested positive for Covid-19 following 180 Rapid Antigen Tests carried out so far.
