Axis Communications signs TYAX as distributor for Sri Lanka, Maldives

Axis Communications, the market leader in network video, and TYAX (Private) Ltd, Colombo’s leading distributor of IT peripherals, networking products and components, announced their partnership for the distribution of full range of Axis network video products.

nka and the Maldives will have direct access to Axis network video products from May 2015 onwards, by TYAX (Private) Ltd.
TYAX (Private) Ltd markets an extensive range of IT peripherals, networking products and solutions, like enterprise servers, storage and network cabling products. The agreement strengthens Axis’ presence in the Sri Lankan and Maldives markets by enabling TYAX (Private) Ltd to distribute the entire range of Axis network cameras and video products. The security market is being driven and developed by increased prosperity, urbanization and a general trend towards greater security consideration. Axis sees considerable growth potential based on the ongoing technology shift from analog surveillance systems to network video solutions.
